RIP, Hal David. A bit sad tonight.

Hal was a great mentor. Thanks for some of the best memories from my professional music career. You didn’t have to take so much time out of your busy schedule and life to sit down with a young nobody of a writer and teach him about songwriting. But, you did.

I will never forget you, you changed my life. I will miss you.
